Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited has published its Standalone Audited Financial Statements for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, in Business Standard and Mumbai Lakshadeep on June 19, 2025.
Key financial highlights for FY25 compared to FY24:
Net Profit for the year increased to ₹16,450.08 crore from ₹13,781.58 crore.
Total Income grew to ₹67,880.86 crore from ₹56,072.01 crore.
Earnings Per Share (Basic & Diluted) rose to ₹82.74 from ₹69.15.
Total Deposits as of March 31, 2025, stood at ₹4,99,055.14 crore, up from ₹4,48,953.75 crore as of March 31, 2024.
Total Advances as of March 31, 2025, were ₹4,26,909.20 crore, compared to ₹3,76,075.27 crore as of March 31, 2024.
Total Assets as of March 31, 2025, reached ₹6,93,624.18 crore, increasing from ₹6,00,357.05 crore as of March 31, 2024.
Kotak Mahindra Bank representatives will meet with investors in London and at KIE India Corporate Day - London 2025 on June 23, 2025 and June 24, 2025.
Mr. Paul Parambi will cease to be the Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO) of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited at the end of the day on June 11, 2025, in view of his upcoming retirement.
Mr. Parambi will continue as Group President – Risk and will cease to be a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Bank upon his retirement on June 30, 2025.
The Board of Directors of the Bank has appointed Ms. Srishti Sethi as the new GCRO and a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the Bank, for a period of five years, with effect from June 12, 2025.
Ms. Sethi brings over 30 years of experience across enterprise and credit risk, banking and wealth management, corporate debt, collections, and operational excellence.
She has held leadership roles at Hero Fincorp, IDFC First Bank, and GE Capital in the past.
Ms. Sethi is a graduate in Mathematical Statistics and holds a PGDBM, along with Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and CRISC certifications.
Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited announced a leadership transition on May 31, 2025.
Shanti Ekambaram, Deputy Managing Director, will retire from her role effective October 31, 2025, upon completion of her current term. She has been with the Kotak Group since 1991, playing a pivotal role in shaping its growth and evolution over three decades. She has led several strategic businesses including Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, Treasury, 811, and Consumer Banking.
Ashok Vaswani, MD & CEO, Kotak Mahindra Bank, expressed deep appreciation for Ms. Ekambaram's contributions, stating her leadership was "marked by entrepreneurial thinking, deep customer insight, bold actions and an unwavering commitment to excellence."
The Bank also announced the appointment of Paritosh Kashyap, currently Group President and Business Head – Wholesale Banking Group, as Whole-time Director (Executive Director) and Key Managerial Personnel, subject to regulatory approvals.
Mr. Kashyap has been with Kotak for over three decades, heading the Wholesale Banking business since 2022. He previously led several key businesses including Structured Finance, Real Estate, and Debt Capital Markets, and served as MD and CEO of KMIL from 2016 to 2019.
